Energy saving dims the tablet outside the hours you actually receive visitors, so a screen at reception does not run at full brightness all night. You set a bright level, a dim level, and the hours each one applies.
Set it up
-
Open the Vizito backoffice and select “Account settings” > “Devices” in the left menu. Scroll past your device cards to the “Energy saving” section.
-
Switch “Energy saving” on. Three more rows appear once it is on: “Energy schedule”, “Minimum brightness” and “Maximum brightness”.
-
Set “Maximum brightness” to the level the tablet should use during the hours you schedule, and “Minimum brightness” to the dimmed level it should fall back to outside them. Both are percentages, from 0 to 100.

-
Click “Edit” on the “Energy schedule” row to open the schedule window.
-
Switch on each day the tablet should stay bright. A day that is switched on shows a time range running from 08:00 to 18:00. Drag its two handles to the hours you want. Outside those hours the tablet reverts to energy saving mode and uses the minimum brightness level.

-
Click “Close” to leave the schedule window, then click “Save” under the “Energy saving” section.
Nothing takes effect until you save. The schedule window has no save button of its own, only “Close”, so the days and times you set there are still unsaved when it closes. The switch and the two brightness values are unsaved as well. If you leave the Devices page without clicking “Save” under “Energy saving”, the whole configuration is lost.
Every day starts switched off. If you leave them all off, brightness stays at maximum at all times, which is the default.
