Vizito 2.0.1 is packed with improvements across the tablet app, the backoffice, contactless sign-in and pre-registration. Here is everything that’s new, in plain language.
New features
- A nicer welcome and goodbye. The message your visitors see after signing in or out is now a beautiful full-page screen instead of a small pop-up.
- Find options faster on the tablet. Long dropdown lists (for example a list with 100 departments) now support type-to-search: visitors simply type a few letters and matching options appear. Works on the tablet, contactless sign-in and pre-registration.
- Drag-and-drop ordering everywhere. You can now reorder visit types, list options, agreements and the building blocks of your invitation email simply by dragging them into place.
- Ask again on every visit. You can now mark fields that returning visitors must fill in on every sign-in (for example a health or safety question), instead of Vizito remembering their previous answer.
- Smarter visitor imports. When you import or upload registered visitors, you now only see the fields that are active for the selected visit type.
- “Here to see?” filled in for you. When you add or invite a visitor from the backoffice, the host field is automatically set to you.
- Automatic email verification. Email addresses that match your own company domain are now verified automatically, so you skip the manual verification step.
- More control over how your team logs in. You can now restrict login options even further, for example only allowing sign-in through Google, Microsoft or SAML single sign-on.
- Privacy control for suggestions. Decide per visit type how many characters a visitor must type before suggestions appear, or show all values right away.
- Pay open invoices online. Open invoices now show a “Pay invoice” button so you can settle them directly.
- Faster tablets. We made the communication between your devices and our servers considerably faster, so signing in feels snappier.
- Ready for Android 16. The Vizito app is fully up to date with the latest Android requirements.
- Cleaner account deletion. When a company account is deleted, all users, integrations and licenses are now cleaned up automatically.
