Vizito vs SwipedOn

SwipedOn has moved. Here is where that leaves you

SwipedOn is now part of Sign In App: swipedon.com redirects to signinapp.com, pricing has moved to Sign In App plans, and a combined platform is being built. Existing accounts still work. If you are renewing and want to know how Vizito compares - including where SwipedOn and Sign In App are ahead of us - this page lays it out plainly.

SwipedOn has moved. Here is where that leaves you

A product mid-merger, and a product that is not

This is less a feature fight than a question about the next two years.

Vizito

Vizito is an independent Belgian visitor management system, ISO 27001 certified and hosted in the EU, sold per location from EUR 29.95 per month with the whole visitor feature set in every plan. Same company, same product name, same single focus since the start. If continuity through your next renewal cycle is worth something, that is what we sell alongside the software.

SwipedOn

SwipedOn was a New Zealand product popular with small and mid-sized offices for its simplicity, covering visitors, employee in and out, deliveries and desk booking on higher plans. It is now part of Sign In App under Sign In Solutions, which also owns Sign In Enterprise and The Receptionist. Existing SwipedOn logins keep working, pricing has moved to Sign In App plans, and the merged platform is described as coming rather than live.

Which one is right for you?

If you are a SwipedOn customer reading this before a renewal, these are the honest options.

Vizito is probably the better fit if...

  • You liked SwipedOn for being simple and cheap, and you want to stay in that bracket: Vizito starts at EUR 29.95 per site per month with badge printing and agreements included.
  • Your data should stay in the EU by default, under an ISO 27001 certified management system.
  • You would rather not go through a platform migration in the middle of your contract.
  • Your visitors speak many languages: the Vizito sign-in flow runs in 31.
  • You want the whole visitor feature set on the entry plan instead of spread across tiers.

Staying with SwipedOn or moving to Sign In App is probably better if...

  • Your reception is busy: Sign In App plans include unlimited sign-ins, while Vizito Standard covers 100 visits a month and Pro covers 300.
  • You use SwipedOn for employee in and out as well as visitors. Vizito is visitors only.
  • You log parcels and deliveries in SwipedOn today. Vizito has no delivery module.
  • You book desks through SwipedOn. Vizito does not do desk booking.
  • You need a data region outside the EU, or SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials on the vendor file.

Whatever you decide, ask Sign In Solutions in writing what happens to your current configuration, price and data region when the combined platform lands. That is a fair question and a good supplier will answer it.

Where Vizito is the stronger choice

No migration in your future

No migration in your future

The merged Sign In App and SwipedOn platform is not live yet, which means a change is coming for SwipedOn customers at some point. Vizito is not merging with anything. Your configuration, your price and your data region stay where they are.

Where SwipedOn and Sign In App are stronger

SwipedOn earned its reviews. The merger does not change what the product is good at.

Unlimited sign-ins

Neither SwipedOn nor Sign In App meters visits. Vizito Standard includes 100 a month and Pro 300, with unlimited on Enterprise only. For a busy reception that changes which Vizito plan you should actually be comparing.

Employees, deliveries and desks in the same app

Employee in and out, delivery logging and desk booking are all part of the SwipedOn and Sign In App world. Vizito is visitors only. If your reception team uses SwipedOn for staff attendance or parcels today, replacing it with Vizito means finding another tool for those.

Regions and certifications

Six data regions including the UK, US, Canada and Australia, with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials. Vizito is ISO 27001 and EU-only.

A companion app for staff

Employees can sign in and out from their phone across sites. Vizito notifies hosts by email, SMS, Teams and Slack, but there is no staff app.

The merger is not a reason to leave on its own. It is a reason to read your renewal carefully and check that what you rely on today is in the plan you will be moved to.

How Vizito gets better: you ask, we ship

One thing that does not appear in any table: how a supplier behaves when you ask for something. Vizito is built by a small European team that answers its own support chat, so a request about your reception reaches the person who owns that screen. A large share of every release started as a customer message.

Your request reaches the people who build it

Support, product and development sit together. When you describe something that does not work at your front desk, it is logged against the actual feature rather than dropped into a suggestion box, and you get told whether it is a quick fix, a roadmap item or a no.

Small changes ship in weeks, not roadmap quarters

An extra field on a visit type, a wording change in an invitation mail, a badge layout that fits your label stock. Those small differences decide whether a system fits your reception or almost fits it, and they are exactly the changes we turn around quickly.

You can read exactly what changed

Every release is written up in plain language for the people who use Vizito daily: what changed on the tablet, what changed in the backoffice, and what it means for you. No ticket numbers, no marketing.

What the merger means

The practical questions to ask before you renew

Mergers in this market are normal and usually end well, but they do reset the assumptions your original purchase was based on. Before you sign the next term, ask which platform your account will run on in twelve months, whether your current price survives the move, whether your data region changes, what happens to integrations you have built, and how much notice you get before a migration. Ask us the same questions about our roadmap. A supplier that cannot answer them clearly is telling you something.

What the merger means

Five questions worth an email

Which platform, when

Will my account move to the combined platform, and on what timeline?

Price and term

Does my current price hold through the migration, and what is the renewal uplift?

Data and exports

Where will my data be hosted afterwards, and can I export everything before then?

If you switch

Moving from SwipedOn to Vizito in an evening

The move is a configuration exercise rather than a data project. Export your visitor history from SwipedOn for your retention obligation, then set up Vizito fresh: branding, visit types, the fields you actually use, agreements, badge layout. Hosts come in from a spreadsheet or synchronise from Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace on the Enterprise plan. The iPads and Brother label printers you already own keep working. Most teams configure in an afternoon and switch the kiosk over at the end of a working day.

If you switch

What carries over

Your hardware

iPads, Android tablets and Brother QL network label printers all work with Vizito.

Your hosts

Import from a spreadsheet, or synchronise from Entra ID or Google Workspace.

Your history

Export from SwipedOn and archive it; Vizito starts clean with your own retention rules.

Why this page changed

An earlier version of this comparison treated SwipedOn as an independent New Zealand product and claimed it lacked ISO 27001 and multi-language support. Both of those were wrong, and the company situation has changed as well. SwipedOn is part of Sign In App, the group holds ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials, and the platform supports a broad set of languages. We have corrected the page rather than leaving a flattering error in place.

If you are renewing this quarter

Do three things. First, count your actual monthly visitor volume, because that number decides which Vizito plan is the fair comparison and whether unlimited sign-ins are worth paying for. Second, list the things your reception uses beyond visitors - employee in and out, parcels, desks - because those are the parts Vizito does not replace. Third, ask Sign In Solutions in writing about the migration timeline, your price and your data region, and ask us for the ISO 27001 certificate and the DPA. Two emails, and the decision usually makes itself.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is SwipedOn shutting down?

No. SwipedOn is now part of Sign In App, both owned by Sign In Solutions. The swipedon.com website redirects to signinapp.com, pricing has moved to Sign In App plans, and a combined platform is described as in development rather than live. Existing SwipedOn accounts continue to work and existing logins still function.

  • Should I switch to Vizito because of the merger?

Not on its own. A merger is a reason to read your renewal carefully, not a reason to move. Switch if the things Vizito does better matter to you - EU-only hosting, a lower entry price, the whole visitor feature set on every plan, 31 languages - and stay if you rely on employee sign-in, deliveries, desk booking or unlimited sign-ins, because Vizito does not have the first three and meters the fourth below the Enterprise plan.

  • How does Vizito pricing compare to SwipedOn now?

SwipedOn pricing now points at Sign In App plans, published at GBP 415, GBP 835 and GBP 1,255 per site per year with unlimited sign-ins. Vizito is EUR 29.95, EUR 59 and EUR 99 per site per month with 100, 300 and unlimited visits respectively, and 16% off yearly billing. Compare the plan that matches your actual visit volume rather than the cheapest line on each page.

  • Does Vizito do employee sign in and out?

No. Vizito registers visitors, contractors and drivers. Some customers do use it to register employees who forgot their badge, but there is no staff attendance, time tracking or employee mobile app. If employee sign-in is part of why you bought SwipedOn, that is a genuine gap on our side.

  • Does Vizito log deliveries and parcels?

No. There is no mailroom or parcel module. Delivery drivers can be registered as a visit type with their own sign-in flow, agreements and host notification, which covers the security side, but Vizito will not track a parcel from arrival to collection.

  • Will my iPads work with Vizito?

Yes. Vizito runs on iPadOS and Android tablets, and there is a Windows kiosk and browser-based kiosk option. Brother QL network label printers work directly, so the printer at your reception carries over too. There is no proprietary hardware to buy.
