Both are European, both are ISO 27001 certified, both do visitor management properly. The difference is how the offer is packaged.
Vizito is a Belgian visitor management system sold as one product per location, from EUR 29.95 per month. Every visitor feature is in every plan - pre-registration, contactless sign-in, badge printing, text, PDF and video agreements, host approval, evacuation overview, satisfaction surveys - with identity features such as SAML single sign-on and Microsoft Entra ID sync on the Enterprise tier. Data is hosted in the EU only, and the sign-in flow runs in 31 languages.
Sign In App is a UK product from Sign In Solutions, which also owns Sign In Enterprise, The Receptionist and, since the recent merger, SwipedOn. It is priced per site per year - Core at GBP 415, Enhanced at GBP 835, Pro at GBP 1,255 - with unlimited sign-ins, employees, portal users and iPads on every plan, and separately priced modules for desk booking, time and attendance, scheduling and school records. It holds ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials and offers six data regions.
Which one is right for you?
Honestly, plenty of organisations would be well served by either. These are the tiebreakers.
Vizito is probably the better fit if...
- You want the lowest entry price for a real visitor management system: EUR 29.95 per site per month, badge printing and agreements included.
- Your visitors speak a lot of languages. The Vizito sign-in flow runs in 31, and every field, question and agreement can be translated.
- You want pre-registration and ID-free contactless sign-in on the entry plan rather than a tier up.
- You are in a shared building and want one tablet to serve several companies.
- You are in Belgium and want visitors identified from their eID card rather than by typing their name.
Sign In App is probably the better fit if...
- Your reception is busy. Sign In App includes unlimited sign-ins on every plan; Vizito Standard covers 100 visits a month and Pro covers 300.
- You need a data region outside the EU - UK, US, Canada or Australia. Vizito hosts in the EU only.
- Your security review wants SOC 2 Type II or Cyber Essentials alongside ISO 27001.
- You want employee sign-in, time and attendance or desk booking from the same vendor.
- You need SCIM provisioning, or a companion mobile app for staff to sign in and out across sites.
- You run a UK school and need the Single Central Record handled in the same system.
If your reception handles more than a few hundred visitors a month, start by comparing our Pro or Enterprise plan against their Core, not our Standard. That is the fair comparison and it is still a close one.
Where Vizito is the stronger choice
One product, not a base plan plus modules
Desk booking, time and attendance, scheduling and school records are separately priced add-ons at Sign In App, and pre-visit registration and ID scanning start at the Enhanced tier. Vizito puts the whole visitor feature set in every plan; the only things that move with the tier are visit volume, support level and identity integrations.
31 languages, all the way through
Vizito runs the visitor sign-in flow in 31 languages, and custom fields, list options and agreements can each carry their own translations. Sign In App supports a broad set of languages too; if your site receives drivers and contractors from across Europe, compare the actual lists rather than the marketing line.
EU hosting by default and a lower entry price
All Vizito data sits in the EU under an ISO 27001 certified management system, with no region to choose or get wrong, at EUR 29.95 per site per month for the entry plan. For a European organisation that does not need a UK or US region, that is a simpler and cheaper starting point.

Where Sign In App is stronger
We lose rows on this page, and pretending otherwise would insult anyone who has actually used both.
Unlimited sign-ins on every plan
Sign In App does not meter visits. Vizito Standard includes 100 visits a month and Pro includes 300, with unlimited only on Enterprise. For a busy reception, that changes which plan you are really comparing, and you should do that arithmetic before looking at anything else.
Six data regions and a deeper certification stack
UK, EU, two US regions, Canada and Australia, with ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials behind them. Vizito is ISO 27001 and EU-only. If you are a UK organisation that wants UK residency, or a global one that needs local regions, they win outright.
Employees, desks and time as well as visitors
Staff sign-in, Time and Attendance, Spaces desk and room booking and a companion mobile app extend the same system past the front desk. Vizito does none of that, and a second tool for staff attendance is a real cost to weigh against our lower licence price.
SCIM provisioning and schools compliance
SCIM user provisioning on the Pro plan and a Single Central Record module for UK schools are both things we are asked for and do not have.
Where we are comfortable competing: entry price, the whole visitor feature set being in every plan, 31 languages, shared-building kiosks and how quickly small requests actually get built.

When two products are this close on features, what usually decides the next three years is how the vendor behaves after the invoice. Vizito is built by a small European team that answers its own support chat, so a request about your reception reaches the person who owns that screen instead of a queue.

Support, product and development sit together. When you describe something that does not work at your front desk, it is logged against the actual feature rather than dropped into a suggestion box, and you get told whether it is a quick fix, a roadmap item or a no.

If we have feedback on improving the solution, they will use this feedback. Per site per month, with everything in the box
Vizito charges one price per location and puts the whole visitor feature set inside it: pre-registration, invitations with a Wallet pass, contactless sign-in, badge printing, text, PDF and video agreements with a captured signature, host approval, custom fields per visit type, evacuation overview, satisfaction survey, retention rules and exports. Unlimited kiosks, QR codes, hosts and administrators at that site are included. What moves between Standard, Pro and Enterprise is the monthly visit allowance, the support level and the identity integrations. It is worth comparing that against a base plan plus the modules you would actually switch on.

Compliance
ISO 27001 on both sides, and one honest gap on ours
Both products are ISO 27001 certified, both offer configurable retention and both will sign a Data Processing Agreement. Sign In App additionally holds SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials, and lets you choose from six data regions. Vizito holds ISO 27001, hosts every customer in the EU, and does not have SOC 2. If your questionnaire treats SOC 2 as mandatory rather than as an alternative to ISO 27001, that is a real reason to prefer them, and it is better said here than discovered in procurement.

The closest comparison we publish
Most comparison pages exist because one product is clearly aimed at a different buyer. This one does not. Sign In App and Vizito are both European, both ISO 27001 certified, both mature, and both do the everyday reception job well. If you shortlist the two of us you will have a good year either way, and we would rather help you pick correctly than win on a technicality.
The three things that actually separate us
Visit volume. Sign In App does not meter sign-ins. Vizito does, on Standard and Pro. If your reception sees more than three hundred visitors a month, compare our Enterprise plan and nothing lower. That single number moves the price comparison more than any feature.
Where the data lives. Vizito hosts every customer in the EU and does not offer a choice. Sign In App offers six regions including the UK. For a UK organisation with a UK residency preference, or a global one with regional rules, that is decisive and no feature makes up for it.
Packaging. We put the whole visitor feature set in every plan; they put more of it in higher tiers and paid modules but also sell employees, desks and time and attendance. Which model is cheaper depends entirely on what you would switch on.
What to do with a shortlist of two
Run both trials at the same site, in the same week, with the same visit types and the same badge stock. Fifteen days at Sign In App and fourteen at Vizito overlap comfortably. Ask each of us for a small change during the trial - an extra field, a different wording in the invitation mail, a badge layout tweak - and see what happens. That is a better predictor of the next three years than any table on any website, including this one.

It depends on visit volume. Vizito Standard is EUR 29.95 per site per month, which is below Sign In App Core at GBP 415 per site per year, but Standard covers 100 visits a month while Sign In App does not meter sign-ins at all. A busy reception should compare Vizito Pro (EUR 59, 300 visits) or Enterprise (EUR 99, unlimited) against Core or Enhanced. At the top of both ranges Vizito Enterprise is still below Sign In App Pro, and Vizito includes SAML single sign-on there.

Does Sign In App have ISO 27001?
Yes. Sign In App Ltd is ISO 27001 certified and also holds SOC 2 Type II and Cyber Essentials. Any comparison page claiming otherwise, including an older version of this one, is out of date. Vizito is ISO 27001 certified and does not hold SOC 2.

Those are all genuine gaps in Vizito.

Can I move from Sign In App to Vizito?
Yes, and it is mostly a configuration job. Export your sign-in history for your retention obligation, rebuild your visit types and agreements in Vizito, import hosts from a spreadsheet or synchronise them from Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace, and install the Vizito app on the iPads you already use. The Brother label printers you have carry over. Plan an evening for the cutover.
