Vizito vs Proxyclick (Eptura Visitor)

Two Belgian-born products that grew in opposite directions

Proxyclick and Vizito both started in Belgium. Proxyclick was acquired by Condeco, became part of Eptura and now ships as Eptura Visitor inside a broad worktech suite. Vizito stayed independent and stayed a visitor management system. This page compares them properly, including the enterprise security features Eptura has that Vizito does not.

Two Belgian-born products that grew in opposite directions

A suite component and a standalone product

Same origin, very different answers to the question “what should this software be?”

Vizito

Vizito is an independent Belgian company with one product. It is ISO 27001 certified, hosted in the EU, priced publicly from EUR 29.95 per site per month, and you can be signing visitors in before lunch without speaking to anyone. There is no suite to grow into and no cross-sell: the roadmap is entirely about the front desk, which is why the sign-in flow itself goes deeper than the price suggests.

Eptura Visitor

Eptura Visitor is the visitor module of Eptura, a large worktech platform that also covers space and asset management, desk booking, maintenance and workplace analytics through products such as Archibus and Serraview. It carries ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II, offers regional data hosting, and adds enterprise controls like integrated watchlists, ID matching and RFID access card issuing. It is sold through a sales team rather than a pricing page.

Which one is right for you?

These two rarely lose to each other by accident. The deciding factor is usually scope.

Vizito is probably the better fit if...

  • You want to buy visitor management, not a workplace platform, and you would like the price on a page rather than in a proposal.
  • You are one to fifty sites and want each new location to be a ten minute copy of the last one.
  • Continuity matters to you: you would rather your supplier stayed the same company with the same product name for the next five years.
  • You need EU hosting by default and an ISO 27001 certificate for the security questionnaire.
  • Your reception wants to change a field, an agreement or a badge layout themselves, without raising a request.

Eptura Visitor is probably the better fit if...

  • You already run Eptura, Archibus or Serraview, and one vendor across space, assets and visitors is worth more than a lower line item.
  • Your security policy requires screening visitors against watchlists or denied-party lists. Vizito has no watchlist feature.
  • You need visitors to be issued RFID access cards or matched against ID documents at the door.
  • You need a data region outside the EU, or a global rollout with regional hosting per business unit.
  • You want SOC 2 Type II as well as ISO 27001 on the vendor file.

If your shortlist has both, ask each vendor to price the same three-year scenario including renewal terms. That single question separates them faster than any feature table.

Where Vizito is the stronger choice

Independent and single-product

Independent and single-product

Proxyclick has changed owner and name twice since 2022 - first into Condeco, then into Eptura, then to Eptura Visitor. Nothing about that is unusual in this market, but it does mean roadmap, support contacts and renewal terms have moved. Vizito has had the same owners, the same name and the same single product since the start.

A price you can read

A price you can read

Vizito publishes EUR 29.95, EUR 59 and EUR 99 per location per month with every visitor management feature included in all three. Eptura does not publish visitor pricing; you get a quote. Neither approach is wrong, but one of them lets you build a budget on a Tuesday afternoon.

Where Eptura Visitor is stronger

Eptura bought Proxyclick because it was good. Here is what you would be giving up by choosing us.

Enterprise screening at the door

Integrated watchlists, ID matching and pre-approval are part of Eptura Visitor. Vizito can require a host to approve a visitor before entry, and it reads Belgian eID cards, but it cannot screen a name against a denied-party list. If that is a compliance obligation rather than a preference, choose Eptura.

Two certifications, several regions

Eptura holds ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II and offers regional data hosting. Vizito holds ISO 27001 and hosts in the EU only. For a European buyer that is usually enough; for a global rollout with regional data rules, it is not.

One vendor for the whole building

Space planning, asset management, maintenance, desk booking and visitors under one contract, with Archibus and Serraview behind it for large real estate portfolios. Vizito covers the front door and stops there.

RFID access cards and building systems

Eptura Visitor can issue RFID access cards and hook into building systems as part of the check-in. Vizito can generate a WiFi access token and print a badge, but it does not talk to your access control or turnstiles.

What we would say in their favour and ours: if your requirement list is mostly about the door, an enterprise suite is an expensive way to buy it. If it is genuinely about the building, we are the wrong shortlist.

How Vizito gets better: you ask, we ship

There is one more difference that a feature table never shows: what happens after you buy. Vizito is built by a small European team that answers its own support chat, so a request about your reception reaches the person who owns that screen instead of a queue. A large share of every release started as a customer message.

Your request reaches the people who build it

Support, product and development sit together. When you describe something that does not work at your front desk, it is logged against the actual feature rather than dropped into a suggestion box, and you get told whether it is a quick fix, a roadmap item or a no.

Small changes ship in weeks, not roadmap quarters

An extra field on a visit type, a wording change in an invitation mail, a badge layout that fits your label stock. Those small differences decide whether a system fits your reception or almost fits it, and they are exactly the changes we turn around quickly.

You can read exactly what changed

Every release is written up in plain language for the people who use Vizito daily: what changed on the tablet, what changed in the backoffice, and what it means for you. No ticket numbers, no marketing.

Scope

A product that is finished being a suite

Most visitor management products eventually get absorbed into something larger, because that is where the enterprise budget is. Vizito made the opposite choice on purpose. Every development hour goes into the sign-in flow: custom flows per visit type, text, PDF and video agreements with a captured signature, host approval, retention rules, badge layouts, 31 languages, satisfaction surveys, and a kiosk that can be shared by several companies in the same building. That is a narrow product, and narrow is the point.

Scope

What a narrow product buys you

Nothing to grow into

You are not paying today for modules a procurement team hopes you will adopt next year.

Faster small changes

A field, a wording change or a badge layout is a small job, not a queue position behind a space planning release.

One thing done properly

Reception staff learn the whole product in an afternoon because there is not much else in it.

Compliance

ISO 27001, EU hosting, and an honest note about SOC 2

Vizito is ISO 27001 certified and hosts all customer data in the European Union by default, with a signed Data Processing Agreement, configurable retention, automatic anonymisation and consent capture at the kiosk. What Vizito does not have is a SOC 2 Type II report. Eptura has both. If your security questionnaire lists SOC 2 as a hard requirement rather than an alternative to ISO 27001, that is a genuine reason to pick them over us, and we would rather say so here than in week three of your trial.

Why this page is not a hit piece

Proxyclick was a good product built by good people about forty minutes down the road from us. It was acquired because it was worth acquiring. Comparison pages that pretend otherwise are easy to write and easy to see through, and they do not survive a demo.

What has genuinely changed for a buyer is the shape of the offer. Eptura Visitor is now a component of a large worktech platform sold by an enterprise sales motion. If that is what you want, it is a strong choice and this page will not talk you out of it. If what you want is the front desk, bought quickly at a price you can see, that is the case we make.

The three questions that usually decide it

  1. Is visitor management the whole requirement, or a line in a bigger workplace programme? If it is a line in a bigger programme with space, assets and maintenance next to it, buy the suite.
  2. Does your security policy require screening against watchlists or denied-party lists? If yes, Vizito is out, and we would rather tell you now.
  3. Do you need the price before you can start the conversation? If yes, ours is published and theirs is not.

What Eptura customers ask us most

The most common question from teams moving in our direction is about multi-site rollout. In Vizito, a location can be copied: the second and the twentieth site inherit the visit types, agreements, branding and badge layout of the first, and a global administrator sees all of them in one dashboard with grouped reporting per region or business unit. The second most common question is about the exit: your data and configuration can be exported at any time, which is a fair thing to ask of us and of anyone else on your shortlist.

Frequently asked questions

  • Is Proxyclick still called Proxyclick?

No. Proxyclick was acquired by Condeco, which became part of Eptura, and the product now ships as Eptura Visitor inside the Eptura platform. Existing customers were migrated to the Eptura branding. If you are searching for Proxyclick alternatives in 2026, the product you are actually comparing against is Eptura Visitor.

  • Is Vizito a good alternative to Proxyclick or Eptura Visitor?

For visitor management on its own, yes: Vizito matches it on pre-registration, contactless sign-in, badge printing, agreements and signatures, host notifications, emergency lists, multi-site management and directory sync, at a published price starting at EUR 29.95 per site per month, with EU hosting and ISO 27001. For enterprise screening, RFID access cards or the wider Eptura suite, it is not an alternative, because Vizito does not do those things.

  • When should I choose Eptura Visitor over Vizito?

Choose Eptura Visitor if you need watchlist or denied-party screening, ID document matching, RFID access card issuing, a SOC 2 Type II report, data hosting outside the EU, or if you already run Eptura, Archibus or Serraview and want one vendor across space, assets and visitors. Those are all real gaps on our side.

  • How does the pricing compare?

Vizito publishes its pricing: EUR 29.95 per location per month for Standard, EUR 59 for Pro and EUR 99 for Enterprise, all features included, 16% off yearly. Eptura does not publish visitor management pricing, so a like-for-like comparison needs a quote from them. When you ask for one, ask for the renewal terms in the same conversation.

  • What happens to my configuration if Vizito is acquired one day?

We cannot promise the future of any company, and neither can anyone else. What we can say is what we do today: your data stays in the EU, you can export your full visitor history and configuration at any time, contracts are month to month unless you choose yearly, and there is no lock-in mechanism beyond the product being useful. Those are the terms worth asking any supplier about, including us.

  • Can I switch from Eptura Visitor to Vizito without losing history?

Yes. Export your visitor history from Eptura for your retention obligation, then configure Vizito fresh - visit types, agreements, branding, badge layout - and import hosts from a spreadsheet or synchronise them from Microsoft Entra ID or Google Workspace. Existing tablets and Brother label printers keep working. Most teams do the cutover in an evening.
